palos meltdown 9/9
do it. the course is actually pretty sweet. lots of singletrack and some decent climbing.
way better than a mowed ski hill.

Yeah, but the mowed skihill is in my backyard. . . .almost. Plus, if everyone else does Palos, I should have a pretty good Sunbust finish. :-)
you can ride in your backyard anytime. races are excuses to get out and ride places you normally wouldn't.
last time I rode Palos it was marginally better than Sunburst. Anyway, this looks like more fun.

Marginally better than Sunburst? Did you stay in the parking lot or something? And I suppose you thought the road leadout at Kewaunee was great mountainbiking...
Even the WORS people who complain about no singletrack will still show up to race at the mowed grass field instead of the Palos race.
is there a worse course than sunburst? did you crash on your head?
