the. mesa. is. DRY. like dusty. i didn't ride much of it as i didn't get out the door til just before 8:30. raccoon alley doesn't even have water in the creek crossing. the turn before the onions is dry. if the onion turn is dry you know its good.

yay, glad to hear you finally got to ride dirt close to home!
I have never been to the mesa but I like reading the trail descriptions - raccoon alley, the onion turn, etc.
And then Wednesday came. And it rained.
yeah... i'm having a pity party today complete with sulking.
